Onin Staffing is looking for an Industrial Controller to join a manufacturing company in the Bessemer area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and manage all Finance and Accounting functions.
- Implement and monitor financial controls.
- Prepare reports required by regulatory agencies.
- Maintain effective internal controls.
- Ensure compliance with corporate procedures, reporting requirements, and local statutory/legal regulations.
- Conduct financial planning and analysis.
- Oversee an effective and timely inventory management program.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Proficient with QuickBooks, and other accounting software
- Proactive self-starter with the ability to collaborate closely with production, sales/quoting, materials, and customer service teams.
- Skilled in quickly identifying and resolving issues.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage a high volume of information and deliver accurate results within tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in manufacturing cost accounting.
- Supervisory experience in accounting, accounts payable, and cost accounting.
- Capability to meet the physical requirements specific to the role.
