Te Whatu Ora, Te Tai Tokerau is seeking for nurse educator to join their team within the general ward, accident and medical in New Zealand .
The role is to provide and facilitate clinical education to maximise health care delivery to enhance patients outcomes.
The ideal candidate have a ability to promote clinical excellence through the facilitation, development and provision of ward and units.
It have the ability to develop the competence and capability of the nursing workforce within the clinical areas.
This full-time position, offering a competitive salary packages is $49.26 per hour, candidate are required to hold a current practicing certificate as a registered nurse and must be qualified healthcare professionals authorized to provide nursing care in accordance with national standards and regulations.
Responsibilities of nurse educator:
Candidate is responsible for promoting clinical excellence through the facilitation, development and provision of ward and unit based on education programmes and resources.
It have the ability to develop the competence and capability of the nursing workforce within the clinical area.
Demonstrate consistently high clinical standards, clinical leadership and professionalism.
Provide high quality care within the hospital.
Qualifications for nurse educator:
Candidate must possess a current practicing certificate as a registered nurse.
It must have healthcare professional qualification.
Holds a relevant post-graduate medical education to complement their qualifications.
At least 7 years of post-registration experience.
Demonstrate the ability to foster teamwork, cooperation and a positive attitude among colleagues.
Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary team.
Committed to the development of the nursing profession.
