Serving three primary markets - passenger vehicle, commercial truck, and off-highway equipment - Dana provides the world's original-equipment manufacturers and the aftermarket with local product and service support through a network of nearly 100 engineering, manufacturing, and distribution facilities.Position SummaryReporting to the local LV Engineering Operation Manager the candidate will be responsible to manage the activities related to incoming and outcoming quality inspection of high performance transmission and electrified powertrains,Main Opportunities and ChallengesHigh technical competences aquisitiion by team working on high performance projects and premium OEMs.
Main ResponsibilitiesPrototype quality Engineer will be responsible to monitor, track, collect all quality documentation related to incoming component, verify its compliance to drawing and company standards, interact with suppliers and chief engineers in order to approve deviations to the specifications.
He will also be responsible to guarantee the complaice of the prototypes delivered to customer, register all technical and quality documentation according to Dana quality system and IATF automotive standards.
Job RequirementsEducation:
Mechatronics, Mechanics, Electronics, AerospaceProfessional Background:
Strong technical background coming from at least 5 yeasr experience in design and development of automotive powertrain with minimum.
Hard SkillsEssential:
Strong technical mechanical drawing.
Knowledge of production processes of main transmission componentsKnowledge of automotive quality standads, procedures and processes according to IATF standard.
Microsoft Office suite, proficient EnglishConsidered as a plusKnowledge of mechatronic systems, electric and electronic components.
