An award winning architectural practice with a wide ranging portfolio of work across all typologies, including data centres, are seeking to recruit a Design Manager / Project Manager to oversee the delivery of projects in Ireland and across Europe.
Based in their Dublin city studio, the successful Design Manager / Project Manager will take responsibility for leading the team, overseeing projects, progress, timescales, liaising with clients/other stakeholders, coordinating with design team, and compliance for complex construction projects.
The successful Design Manager should have in excess of 10 years construction experience with proven success leading teams through all work stages of construction projects and contract administration including the Architect's role and responsibilities.
Requirements include:
- Hold an educational qualification in Architectural, Engineering, or Project Management
- Good understanding of project programming, resource planning and project management methodologies is advantageous
- At least 10 years experience within the construction industry, some of which MUST have been gained in Ireland
- Lead and manage the delivery of multiple projects and teams
- Familiar with Irish Building and Planning Regulations
- Excellent communication, design and presentation skills
- Ability to collaboratively solve complex problems with key project stakeholders.
- Be familiar with construction contract administration, design team / contractors responsibilities
- Provide progress reports to internal management and clients
- Previous project experience in high technology and/ or data centres is beneficial, but not essential
- Expert project level design knowledge and expertise
- MUST hold eligibility to work in Ireland
