Manufacturing Engineer
Role Overview:
• The Manufacturing Engineer will provide hands-on engineering support for production activities at our Galway facility.
• This role requires interaction with Operations, Quality, and Product Engineering departments to support engineering and quality systems.
Responsibilities include:
• Develop innovative solutions to complex engineering and manufacturing production problems.
• Design and develop tools and equipment by applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials, while soliciting observations from operators/production technicians.
• Conduct machine, tooling, and process validation (IQOQPQ).
• Plan, lead, and manage the execution of project activities within a cross-functional team.
• Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
Competencies:
• B.Eng. degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in analyzing process capabilities and developing/implementing product and process improvement plans.
• Lean manufacturing experience.
• Related experience in an engineering role
