Maintenance Coordinator

I have a great opportunity for a dynamic and organised Maintenance Coordinator to work alongside my clients maintenance team at its head office.
The position will report directly into the Fleet Optimisation Manager and primarily will be responsible for all admin aspects of the companys servicing and repair jobs, including liaising with the companys national team of mobile engineers and ordering parts from CPIs key supply partners.
The company has a strong history of developing its employees and providing training at all levels.

The role includes responsibility for the following tasks:
Maintenance - Complete all admin aspects of the maintenance job process.
• Coordinate with engineers & wider maintenance department to provide live job updates.
• Coordinate with Head of Field Service to despatch engineers to breakdowns.
Purchasing - Obtaining parts quotes, chasing order status/missing parts.
• Raising and receipting purchase orders.
• Organise and dispatch call outs from external parties.
Asset Compliance - File and maintain service reports, regulatory checks and other asset documents.
• Input Asset Condition Report information onto system and update defect logs - Administrative work, reporting and stock control for wear components such as tyres, buckets, undercarriage
You will ideally have most of the following skills and experience:

Experience within a data entry/processing administrative role required.
Experience in interacting with engineers and service/repair jobs or breakdowns is required, with experience within the construction or quarrying preferred, but not essential.
Ideal candidate is dynamic and logically minded with focus put on organisation and efficiency.
IT proficient minimum of competent to advanced skill level needed in Excel, with experience in using the wider Microsoft office suite.
Experience of working on asset database systems is preferred, Syrinx ideally, but not essential.
Knowledge of mobile plant & its components is preferred, but not essential.
Excellent communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
Able to multi-task and work within a fast-paced environment.
Job will be within a team but must be able to work independently.
Ability to build and maintain good working relationships both internally and externally.
