circa £60,000DescriptionThe Security Engineer will be responsible for safeguarding Emeralds data and IT infrastructure, by implementing and managing robust security measures.
They will ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, manage disaster recovery processes, and provide technical support to the team.This role will report directly to the Infrastructure Lead and will sit within the Infrastructure Team.
The successful candidate will do an in depth analysis across the full Infrastructure estate, to determine the current security status and report on recommendations.Location:

Design, document and implement security measures to protect IT infrastructure and data assets.Collaborate as part of the Infrastructure team to plan and execute a disaster recovery solutionProvide technical support and guidance to team members across Technology, acting as Technical Security Subject Matter ExpertProvide technical security input to assist project deliveryResponsible for technical delivery of the Security RoadmapBuild effective relationships with internal clients and external service providers.Manage security monitoring alerts and provide efficient response and supportProvide technical Cyber Security and Security Breach incident and responseManage Microsoft 365 E5 security stackProvide regular security assessments and reportsKeep up to date with new attack vectors and security trendsSupport ISM in the production of Information Security policies and proceduresYou'll need to have:
Strong knowledge of Azure systems operations and architectureExcellent personal time management and organizational skillsEffective communication across all levels of the business.Proven track record of timely delivery of projectsQualifications:
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalentMicrosoft Azure AdministratorAzure Security Engineer AssociateExperience:
3+ years proven experience as a Security Engineer or similar role3+ year's experience with Azure cloud services and infrastructureProficient working knowledge and experience managing Microsoft 365 E5 security stackExperience of managing Microsoft Azure Sentinel desirableExperience with enterprise level vulnerability managementWhat's in it for you?At Emerald, we value our people.
