Very well reviewed & well regarded operation located in an historic market town of just 5000 inhabitants which has been recently voted one of the top places to live in Northern Ireland.
An up & coming tourist town with a warm, incredibly friendly and welcoming local population offers a relaxed setting for well travelled visitors that arrive from across the world.
The town is famed for its country pubs, incredible Irish hospitality and is a popular spot for weekenders & honeymooners with more than 60 homely pubs & restaurants to visit within easy reach.
The town is conveniently located just 40 minute drive to the capital & only a short 2 hour drive to Dublin.
The company is an established privately owned 3 site business, which includes an upscale 3 star boutique Hotel operation which has been lovingly restored & includes 20+ beautifully designed & furnished rooms plus very smart suite accommodation.
There is an on site gin bar, a bistro, coffee shop, extensive wedding event space & an upmarket restaurant & occupies an imposing location in the centre of town.
The 2nd site is a high volume, lively restaurant & bar operation with live music & a late license & the 3rd site in the group is a very smart high end pub serving upscale food but the site also has extensive wedding & events space.
Our client is looking for a strong GM operator or someone who is currently a No2 but looking for their first GM appointment but has the experience of leading a similar single site business & a track record of maintaining standards & driving profitability.
This will be a hands on GM role - leading a team of circa 40 - 50 staff & would suit someone who maybe tiring of running their current business from the office due to the rising amount of bureaucracy within their current company & wants to reconnect with their guests.
