Electrical Project Manager/Estimator

Electrical Project Manager needed for a growing contractor in Vancouver!Your New Company:
Our client is renowned for its high-profile commercial and industrial projects in Vancouver.
Established in 1997, they rapidly expanded from a two-person team to become a leading electrical contractor in the Lower Mainland.
Fast-forward to 2023, and they now specialize in Electrical Construction, Data & Communications, EV Charging, and Security/Alarm & Preventative Maintenance.Your New Role:
As the Electrical Project Manager/Estimator, your role will primarily focus on Commercial and Residential Projects.
Your day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, consultants, general contractors, and end users.
Additionally, you'll review contracts, handle material and equipment purchases, collaborate with foremen, superintendents, and project coordinators to assess labor requirements, develop project schedules, manage projects, and oversee on-site activities as needed.
Lastly, you'll review reports, create project manuals, and evaluate each project during close-out to identify areas for improvement and highlight strengths.What You'll Need To Succeed:
We are seeking candidates with 2-3 years of experience in Electrical Project Management and/or estimating, preferably within the commercial and residential sectors.
Key attributes include strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, effective communication, and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
A deep understanding of electrical systems, codes, and regulations is essential.
Familiarity with best practices in electrical project management and estimation is highly valued.
Some level of Accubid would be an asset in addition to Microsoft Suite.What you'll get in Return:
