Graduate Teaching Assistant ENVS 201

Duties and Accountabilities The nature of the work is immediately associated with the delivery of instruction in ENVS 201: Foundations of Sustainability . The Graduate Teaching Assistant will have general duties and responsibilities that may include the following:

Regularly attend and support ENVS 201 classes
Communicate with students about lectures, course content, assignments, and deliverables
Grade assignments
Engage with students in online discussion forums
Assist the course instructor with classroom learning activities
Prepare and lead one or more class lectures/sessions during the term, with support from the course instructor
Be available for consultation with students (as needed)

The general location of work will be on the USask campus and report to Dr. Colin Whitfield.

Required Number of Hours : up to 144 hours

Qualifications
Current enrollment in a MES or PhD program in SENS
Current grade point average of 80% or higher
Previous teaching (assistant) experience would be an asset
Must be located in Saskatoon as the course requires in-class attendance
Master's students must not be beyond the 3 rd year of their program
PhD students must not be beyond the 5 th year of their program
