Le Centre de services scolaire de la Baie-James est à la recherche d'enseignantes ou d'enseignants en adaptation scolaire, autant au primaire qu'au secondaire.
Les principales tâches d'un enseignant en adaptation scolaire consistent principalement à soutenir et accompagner les élèves en difficulté d'apprentissage.
Le travail s'effectue en sous-groupes ou en classe.
La rédaction de plans d'intervention et la mise en place des mesures d'adptation sont aussi des tâches qui relèvent de l'enseignant en adaptation scolaire.
Celui-ci collabore étroitement avec tous les interveants de l'école dans le but d'améliorer les chances de réussite des élèves qu'il soutien et accompagne.
Il propose des moyens et des approches qui permettront aux enseignants et enseignantes de mettre en place des stratégies jugées efficaces.
Être obligatoirement titulaire d'un brevet d'enseignement avec spécialisation en adaptation scolaire, primaire ou secondaire.
Les conditions de travail sont régies par la convention collective en vigueur ainsi que l'entente locale.
Prime d'éloignement annuelle se situant entre 6 472 $ (sans personne à charge) et 9 258 $ (avec personne à charge).
Frais de déménagement assumés par l'employeur pour toute personne recrutée à plus de 50 kilomètres du lieu de travail.
