Le CAPVISH (Comité d'action des personnes vivant des situations de handicap), qui existe depuis plus de 45 ans, a comme mission de faire progresser la cause des personnes handicapées par la promotion et l'amélioration de leurs conditions de vie tout en encourageant le développement de leur autonomie dans une perspective de participation citoyenne et d'inclusion sociale. Notre principal objectif est de défendre les droits et intérêts collectifs des personnes ayant des incapacités motrices sur le territoire de la Communauté métropolitaine de Québec (CMQ).
Résumé du poste :Sous la supervision de la direction du CAPVISH et en collaboration avec le comité de suivi, le conseiller(ère) et chargé(e) en défense de droit aura comme principal mandat de travailler à la défense des droits dans divers secteurs (accessibilité, transport, logement, soins et services à domicile) et de collaborer sur différents dossiers de l'organisme.
Le titulaire du poste devra notamment accomplir les tâches suivantes :
Volet Aide individuelle :
Documenter et répertorier les ressources informationnelles en matière d'accessibilité ;
Effectuer les rencontres auprès des intervenants concernés par le dossier ;
Accompagner des personnes dans leurs démarches de défense de droit ;
Assurer le rayonnement des projets et le transfert des connaissances ;
Volet Dossiers politiques :
Développer et communiquer une expertise en défense des droits ;
Alimenter l'ensemble des dossiers collectifs de l'organisme à partir des demandes d'aide individuelle et d'autres informations recueillies dans le cadre de son travail ;
Assumer la responsabilité de certains dossiers collectifs : fixer des objectifs, proposer des moyens (représentation, conception-organisation-tenue d'activités d'information ou de mobilisation, collaboration à des travaux de recherche, etc.) et en -assumer la planification et la réalisation.
Autres :
Veiller à la prise d'appels téléphoniques et à la réception et l'envoi de courriels ;
Effectuer au besoin, le classement de documents, la rédaction, la transmission de courrier
et soutien à la direction ;
Assurer un suivi auprès de la clientèle et participer à la mise à jour de la base de données ou autres dossiers informatiques ;
Rédaction de textes d'opinion, documents de sensibilisation, procès-verbaux, rapports, etc.
Soutien à la recherche de financement de projets ;
Assumer toute autre tâche connexe.
Conditions de travail :
Salaire horaire entre 20.00$ et 22.00$ / heure (selon expérience)
32 heures par semaine avec possibilité d'un horaire flexible et télétravail à l'occasion.
Débutant le plus tôt possible en septembre
Bureau localisé dans les Halles Fleur de Lys, près de l'IRDPQ et de tous les services. Grande facilité de transport en commun.
Édifice accessible et milieu de travail adapté.

Langues parlées et écrites : français excellent ;
Compétences développées, expérience significative en défense des droits individuels et collectifs (niveau collégial ou universitaire)
Vision critique des systèmes, connaissance de leurs effets sur les populations marginalisées
Capacité d'analyse et de synthèse importante
Sens de la planification et de l'organisation ;
Excellente capacité rédactionnelle ;
Intérêt à l'égard du milieu communautaire ou de la défense de droits des personnes handicapées ;
Aptitudes à la mobilisation et sens de l'organisation
Connaissance du milieu communautaire
