Your role as a Production Supervisor positions you to be directly involved in the physical production that enables Baxter to fulfil our mission to save and sustain lives.

What you'll be doing
- Accountable for the production activities of the department assigned to you, including but not limited to:
• Safety, Quality, Cost and Customer Service targets - Continuous improvement of set KPI's within your departments
- Develop strong and effective working relationships with cross functional departments i.e.
Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Human Resources, Finance and Product Development to ensure all have a clear understanding of expectations and KPI's within your department - Responsible for maintaining high standards in relation to EH&S, 6S, GMP and housekeeping of your department
- Able to make effective and timely decisions for Product Rejects and Process Stops and Deliver accurate and timely information on departments performance to Managers and communicate during Tier Meetings
- Drive and support project improvement activities as the need arises
What you'll bring
- Able to drive results including Safety, Quality, Cost and service delivery
- Portray a professional and positive approach and lead by example
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with team including development, training, ACE reviews and feedback
- Experience in performance management of team including Absence, Time Keeping and general conduct
- Excellent communication skills (Verbal and Written)
- Experience of working in a Manufacturing / Production environment and knowledge of GMP
- Able to access and interpret relevant information relating to departments performance including efficiency and overtime
Education/ Qualifications
- 3rd Level qualification -preferably in an engineering discipline (Desirable)
