Jardeg is recruiting a Millwright to join the Heartland Constructors team, supporting the CNRL Albian Project near Fort McMurray, Alberta. This is a full-time temporary position starting July 11th and lasting until August 1st. Flights are provided from Calgary and Edmonton. Accommodation provided.

Responsibilities

R ead diagrams and schematic drawings and service manuals to determine work procedures
O perate rigging equipment and dollies to place heavy machinery and parts
F it bearings, align gears and shafts, attach motors, and connect couplings and belts to precise tolerances
A lign and test equipment, and make any necessary adjustments
P erform predictive and operational procedures
R epair or replace defective parts
S ervice and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems
M ay do some tack welding (a weld that is adequate in size to temporarily hold components in place until it can be completely welded by a registered apprentice welder or a Journeyperson welder) and fabrication as well as maintain an inventory of replacement parts

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

Journeyperson Certification and/or Interprovincial Red Seal
Satisfactory completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test
