What you will be working on
Perform preventive maintenance activities as assigned on all equipment and machines throughout the plant and yards in conjunction with daily production requirements
Repair breakdowns of equipment, machinery, and infrastructure
Troubleshooting problems with yard equipment and processing lines
Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Fabricate parts and other equipment as per instructions or blueprints
Install and commission new machinery
Perform weld repairs on equipment
Who's a good fit for the team
Certificate of Qualification (Industrial Mechanic/Millwright - 433A or 426A) as recognized by the Ontario College of Trades is required
Completion of Apprenticeship as a Millwright with relevant work experience or 3+ years of relevant work experience as a licensed Millwright
3 rd and 4 th year Millwrights Apprentice are encouraged to apply
Clear understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic equipment and must have sufficient fabrication skills to support plant equipment
Proficient with stick & TIG, multi positions required, MIG would be an asset
Strong communication and work ethic, ability to work in a team and with other trades.
Basic computer experience a must
Must have toolbox/tools to carry out tasks
