Experienced Insurance Customer Service/Commercial Lines Broker

Our client is currently looking for a Customer Service Broker in Commercial Lines Insurance. You must have a minimum of 3 years Commercial Lines insurance experience and have the abilityto prioritize, manage as well and the ability to multi-task. The insurance world is an ever-changing environment; therefore, we require someone to be adaptable to ever changing situations. We are looking for an individual with a friendly and outgoing disposition, but one that can navigate according to situations as they occur. We are looking for a people person!

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service by following all procedures and protocols
• Review policy renewals for accuracy, proper rating/coverage
• Assess commercial insurance needs through policy reviews
• Order reports to confirm driving records which include Autoplus and MVR reports
• Estimate and prepare fully completed applications for commercial auto insurance
• Make fundamental recommendations for existing clients
• Completing and sending submissions to various insurance companies
• Follow up with various insurance providers on new submissions
• Complete policy changes on various insurance company portals, while conversing with the clients on the phone / in office
• Communicate with insurance companies regarding underwriting requirements
• Complete renewal letters with recommendations when required
• Complete new market search if required for remarketing
• Take claims from clients and report to insurance companies and follow guidelines for client follow-up
• Follow up with clients regarding registered letter cancellations and returned payments
• Upsell and cross sell where appropriate

Requirements:

• Valid RIBO license in good standing
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in a brokerage firm as a Commercial Lines CSR or Broker
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Effective communicator, with the innate ability to work through situations with clients / co-workers
