Role overview
Cognizant is expanding its capabilities and looking for expert Lead Product Consultant.
The ideal candidate must estimate relative business benefits and validate with domain and technology consultants.
Must identify requirements and roadmap.
Assess requirements and provide inputs into creation of solution alternatives.
Prepare workshop materials & draft requirements.
Discuss and Document conversion induced configuration changes with business Legacy and product owners.
What you'll do
- Guidewire Experience with at least 5 recent years in BillingCenter.
- Strong GOSU, Java and Oracle/SQL background.
- Candidate must have a solid grasp of open systems architecture including integrations with vendor packages, relational databases, message queues, web services
- Working with a development team using Agile methodology, Source version control, and Release management to deliver user stories.
- Hands-on development expertise on Guidewire Billing Center (Cloud experience preferred)
- Hands on experience in Guidewire Configuration and Integration.
- Experience with integrations of BC to PolicyCenter/ClaimCenter
- Should be able to effectively work with Offshore developers and guide/coach them as needed.
- Should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Development experience on integrating BillingCenter integration with non-Guidewire applications

- Possess a deep understanding of Guidewire BillingCenter and PolicyCenter with hands-on experience in implementation and customization.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of Property & Casualty Insurance domain including industry-specific processes and regulations.
- Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Showcase proven project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and priorities optimally.

Based on this role's business requirements, this is a Hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Toronto, ON.
