AECOM Buildings + Places , the company's architectural business unit, is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to be based out of the Halifax, Nova Scotia-area.
This individual will work on Marine facilities and infrastructure such as jetties, wharfs and piers.
Provides specialized technical input to Electrical studies and design of Marine facilities and infrastructure such as jetties, wharfs and piers
Senior technical resource may serve as technical advisor for team
Develops study and design procedures to facilitate high quality cost effective work by others.
Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.
Develops construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects.
Uses expertise in all steps of completing discipline component of PS&E package.
Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings.
Prepares technical specification sections.
Provides input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements.
Qualifications
In order to be considered for this position, candidates must possess, no less than:
- A University Degree in Electrical Engineering + six (6) years of relevant experience in the Electrical design of Marine facilities and infrastructure, such as jetties, wharfs and piers.
Demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education may be considered.
Preferred Requirements:
- Must have experience in "Ship to Shore" electrical services such as power, communications, etc.

Company paid relocation is not available for this position.
Sponsorship for Canadian employment authorization is not available for this position.
Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications.
The expected range is $100,000.00 - $130,000.00.
