On behalf of our healthcare client, Affinity is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to act as a bridge between the business team and the technology team by identifying business needs and documenting them for use in developing a solution for the Cancer Screening Lung and HPV Screening Solution.
Responsibilities:
• Facilitation of stakeholder engagement sessions, including the creation of supporting materials such as presentations, agendas, meeting minutes, etc.;
• Working to facilitate workshops and information-gathering sessions.
• Effectively translating technical issues so all project stakeholders can understand and make effective decisions.
• Documentation of as is and to be business processes and standard operating procedures using such tools as business process modeling notation (BPMN)
• Analyzing current business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement.
• Documentation of functional and non-functional business requirements, gap analysis, user stories
• Documentation related to support training activities including reference guides and tools.
• Facilitation of workshops and information gathering sessions including the creation of supporting materials such as presentations, agendas, meeting minutes, etc;
• Documentation of as is and to be business processes and standard operating procedures using such tools as business process modelling notation (BPMN)
• Documentation of functional and non-functional business requirements, gap analysis, and user stories/use cases as it relates to new or changing program needs
• Documentation to support training activities including reference guides and tools
• Document operational framework to support operational program delivery.
Qualifications:
• A University degree in Computer Science is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• A minimum of fifteen (15) years of demonstrated IM/IT experience.
• A minimum of 10 years as a Senior Business Analyst with demonstrated experience such as:
business requirements elicitation, workshop facilitation, user stories, and business process/workflow design activities.
• A minimum of six (6) months demonstrated experience working as a Business Analyst on a Provincial Cancer Screening Program implementation in Canada
• Successful candidate must be available to start work in Fredericton NB.
• Demonstrated competency in communication skills (written and spoken) in English.
Desired requirements:
• 10 years plus of d emonstrated experience in facilitating workshops and working sessions (remote or in person) for requirements gathering.
• 10 years plus of d emonstrated experience in coordinating and facilitating sessions with stakeholders to validate and prioritize business processes and requirements.
• 10 years plus of d emonstrated experience in documenting workflows, business processes, and standard operating procedures
• 10 years plus of d emonstrated experience in documenting both functional and non-functional business requirements, user stories, and/or gap analysis
• 3 years plus of d emonstrated experience contributing to and documenting various training (user) guides and tools.
Hourly rate:
$100 per hour.
