Our client is looking for a Senior Property Manager to join their fast-paced and dynamic Property Management team in Edmonton, Alberta. This motivated individual will bring with them ample amounts of experience overseeing both commercial and residential properties, as well as a passion for training and mentoring others.
The ideal candidate will have exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with tenants, vendors and internal stakeholders. They will bring resourcefulness, innovation and the desire to maintain the company's customer service and building appearance/environment standard of excellence.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The key job functions are:
- Overseeing the Edmonton and surrounding area commercial and residential property portfolios
- Supervising tenant repairs and service requests to ensure they are completed efficiently and to the highest standard
- Ensuring all properties are managed according to Alberta law standards in regards to policies, procedures and operations
- Managing budgets/proposals for major projects/renovations and vendor contracts
- Tenant relation management including rent collection, lease logistics and coordinating events/engagement programs
- Monthly reviewing and reporting on the portfolio budget to ensure proper and efficient allocation of funds
- Collaborating with operations and lease management to ensure a consistent high level of service
- Other duties and tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle
- Strong understanding of Alberta lease agreements and the Residential Tenancies Act
- Knowledge of basic property maintenance (HVAC, electrical, landscaping, etc.)
- Proficient with MS Office Suite
Experience:
- 7+ years' experience in commercial/residential property management is required
- Proven experience in budgeting and managing capital projects
- Knowledge of Yardi property management software is considered an asset

Base Salary:$95,000 - 110,000 per year
- Full benefits package following the successful completion of the 3-month probationary period
Work Hours:
- Monday - Friday
- 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Evening and weekend availability as required to meet the needs of the business

- This opportunities does not include relocation. It will be the responsibility of the candidate should relocation be required.
