Founded by Al and Jenny Jina, Park Place Seniors Living is a family owned and operated company based in Vancouver, British Columbia. Starting out as a nurse, Jenny has worked with seniors her entire career. Together with her husband Al, they opened their first location in Nelson, BC in 1993 with a goal to enrich the lives of seniors and define a new quality of care.

Today, we have a large, unique portfolio of seniors' communities in cities and towns right across British Columbia and Alberta, and one in Ontario. Park Place operates care homes, multi-level care communities, and assisted living and independent living retirement residences.

Director of Care
Agassiz & Glenwood Seniors Community

Join us as the heartbeat of compassionate care at Agassiz & Glenwood Seniors Community! We're seeking a dynamic Director of Care to lead our nursing team in delivering exceptional resident experiences in the picturesque setting of Agassiz, BC.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, organize, and supervise nursing operations to ensure top-notch resident care.
• Shape and implement nursing goals, policies, and procedures in line with regulations.
• Maintain records and engage with families, officials, and resources to meet resident needs.

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse (Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred).
• Experience in long-term care nursing and at least three years in a managerial role.
• Strong leadership, communication, and regulatory knowledge.
• Familiarity with unionized settings and healthcare practices.
