OnX Canada has a client in need of a Sr. Technical Writer for a 12-month contract.
This is a fully remote opportunity, but requires the candidate to possess Enhanced Security Clearance from the government.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and writing various types of technical documentation as part of a major Azure Transformation project. This candidate should have strong communication skills which enable them to explain complicated concepts in a simple manner. This individual will also meet with stakeholders and subject matter experts frequently in order to understand required content.
Responsibilities
- Review & refresh of existing document repository
- Assisting team to document design & engineering artifacts
- Assisting for ongoing projects & initiatives
- Developing templates to document & other required deliverables
- Capturing key processes and stakeholder interactions
- Explain technical ideas in simple language
- Meet with customer representatives to establish technical specifications
- Create user documentation for a variety of material
Qualifications
- 5+years of Technical Writing experience
- Must have Enhanced Security Clearance (at minimum)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to understand highly technical information
- Experience working in government of public companies is nice to have
- Cloud Experience (Azure)
