Job Purpose
The Financial Planning & Reporting Supervisor will be responsible for leading and supporting the monthly consolidation and reporting of our Financial Results.
Working closely and collaborating with our internal teams across the organization, our Financial Planning & Reporting Supervisor will ensure that financial results are complete and accurate for both internal and external reporting.

Job Purpose
The Financial Planning & Reporting Supervisor will be responsible for leading and supporting the monthly consolidation and reporting of our Financial Results.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

As a Financial Planning & Reporting Supervisor, you'll be responsible for:
- Coordinating the monthly, quarterly and annual financial close across relevant teams.
- Reviewing and analyzing financial data by Legal entity and Management Accounts, ensuring GAAP compliance in order to prepare Consolidated Financial Statements in a timely manner.
- Leading the monthly consolidation process of Financial Results.
- Leading the completion and production of all reporting packages for Komatsu on results, plans, and forecasts, communicating a cohesive story around business drivers, to enable business leaders to make informed business decisions.
- Providing support to Finance teams across the organization (Regional and Corporate Division support teams) as needed to enhance our month-end process.
- Providing timely, professional and constructive feedback to regions / division after month-end cycles to guarantee continuous improvement.
- Supporting and promoting the education around the month-end process, including relevant training for all new and existing users.
- Manage, coach, and develop junior planning team members, balancing their growth and development with business needs, succession planning, risk mitigation considerations and ensuring zero fraud and zero harm.
- Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Accounting, or related field or 3+ years working in a Senior Financial Planning role
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in Consolidations and Reporting under GAAP.
- Demonstrated experience gathering, analyzing, manipulate, and auditing large data sets using Excel, PowerBI or other tools.
- High degree of collaboration and customer service orientation.
- Continuous improvement mindset.
- Clear and effective communicator.
- Proven ability to be self-driven and motivated is essential.
- Experience working with multiple currencies and in a multinational company preferred.
- SAP experience desired.
