We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Accountant, Finance to join our Finance team in Langley, BC.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Finance you will play a key role in analyzing financial information, preparing journal entries, and delivering timely and accurate financial reports to management. The successful candidate will be a team player with excellent attention to detail and the ability to learn and work with various financial systems.

You will be responsible for: Contributing to the weekly sales and tender reconciliation process by reviewing and reconciling large volumes of data to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and proper documentation.
Analyzing financial statements and collaborating with other departments to identify abnormalities and compile insightful variance analysis.
Assessing opportunities for business or system process improvements.
Assisting with special projects and ad hoc analysis as needed.
Preparing journal entries and performing other accounting duties as required.
You have: 3 years of experience in an accounting role.
Completion of or progress toward a professional accounting designation.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Experiences with Hyperion Essbase, Anaplan and/or Oracle Peoplesoft would be considered an asset.
You are: Capable of processing large datasets and reviewing financial information with a curious and analytical mindset to interpret trends and prepare meaningful analysis.
An excellent communicator, both written and verbal with strong interpersonal skills.
Able to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.
Able to work independently with high accuracy and attention to detail.
Driven and enthusiastic, with the ability to work well in a team environment.

$55,600.00 - $69,500.00
