We are seeking a Safety Coordinator to provide leadership and administrative support for our HSE program. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with safety regulations, conducting workplace inspections, developing safety programs, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Provide consultation to ensure compliance with HSE program and policies.
- Conduct workplace inspections to verify compliance.
- Develop and implement safety programs and training strategies.
- Serve on the Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee.
- Identify, evaluate, and control safety hazards.
- Ensure availability and maintenance of safety equipment.
- Update safety bulletins, conduct safety meetings, and training.
- Conduct accident investigations and prevent reoccurrences.
- Maintain safety documentation for COR certification.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Salary Range: $65,000.00 to $80,000.00
Job Requirements:
- Knowledge of WorkSafe BC regulations.
- 1+ years of relevant experience.
- CRSP or CRST designation considered an asset.
- First-Aid Level 2 certification is an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
- Excellent communication and organization skills.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel.
Education: Post-Secondary Diploma
