The Bishop of New Westminster seeks to appoint an Executive Assistant to the Bishop's Office for the Anglican Diocese of New Westminster.
This is a full-time position, housed at the Synod Office:
1410 Nanton Street, Vancouver, BC.
As the first point of contact in the Bishop's Office, the Executive Assistant provides all who contact the Bishop's Office with helpful, friendly, professional and competent responses.
They provide administrative support to the ministries of the Bishop and the Executive Archdeacon, at times dealing with matters that are highly confidential.
They coordinate several complex and important projects that involve clergy, parish leaders and some public events:
The Order of the Diocese of New Westminster, licensing of clergy and lay ministries, the Bishop's Advisory Committee on Appointments and the Bishop's Friends.
They participate in Synod Office team efforts.
