Director of Engineering Location:
Vancouver, BC Salary:
$90,000 - $95,000 Located in the heart of the city, my client is seeking a Director of Engineering to oversee and enhance the maintenance and operational efficiency of their luxury property.
This role offers the opportunity to lead a dedicated team and implement innovative solutions to uphold the hotel's high standards of excellence and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Stay informed and adhere to all departmental policies, procedures, and standards.
Ensure superior standards are consistently maintained daily.
Act as the Director of Engineering in their absence and collaborate with the Executive Team to achieve the hotel's goals.
Oversee the hotel's maintenance and preventative maintenance program.
Maintain division standards and control objectives.
Establish and implement annual objectives for the Engineering department.
Provide continuous training and development to ensure team skills are up to date.
Respond to daily work orders promptly, ensuring proper follow-up and completion Key Requirements Minimum 5 - 10 years expereince in a similar position for a luxury property Strong familiarity with project management and collaborative software Proven knowledge of a variety of heating and cooling systems Ability to design and impliment operating standards and procedures Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, fire and local mechanical codes Interested?
