Who Are We Looking For

We are seeking an associate lawyer to support our employer-side workers' compensation and occupational health and safety practice.

Prior work experience or education in the area of workers compensation or occupational health and safety would be an asset, but is not a requirement. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to learn from and work alongside Harris lawyers who are leaders in this specialized area of workplace law.

Our ideal candidate:

• has experience with administrative law, the workers' compensation claims and appeals process, occupational health and safety laws and regulations, and/or the prohibited action complaint process and an interest in practicing in these areas;
• possesses strong written advocacy skills, analytical ability and attention to detail;
• is a team player who works effectively and collaboratively with colleagues;
• is committed to providing exceptional client service;
• values mentorship, professional growth and development opportunities;
• is a member in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia and is committed to practicing in Vancouver, BC.
