Essential Responsibilities:
- Thoroughly reviews the project schedule to understand and carryout all communications and engagement obligations
- Creates and executes a comprehensive communication plan aligning with Project Agreement requirements
- Supports Province's communication by assisting in communicating project value, benefits, and progress to stakeholders
- Provides real-time updates on traffic changes caused by the project
- Proactively addresses concerns and fosters positive relationships with stakeholders
- Issues notices to stakeholders regarding project impacts and ensures transparency
- Actively participates in relevant committees, including the Traffic Liaison Group
- Manages and coordinates all incoming media requests related to the project
- Collaborates with the internal teams to gather information and materials for media use
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in communications or any related discipline
- Demonstrated knowledge of managing traffic, construction, and operations communications for transportation projects
- Experience with working with government communications processes and policies
- Developing traffic and communications strategies with the input of multiple stakeholders
- Exceptional with managing issues related to transportation or other infrastructure construction projects
- Ability to plan and manage engagement for transportation construction projects
