Posting FMCHT24118 Teacher - Senior High English Teacher Temporary - ASAP - June 27, 2024 Fort McMurray Composite High School 1.0 FTE Fort McMurray Composite High School is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our instructional team in the role of Senior High English Teacher.
Requirements:
- The ideal candidate would possess the following background, philosophy, and experience.
Bachelor of Education.
Experience teaching in a senior high school setting, with knowledge of Senior High Language Arts programs of study.
Knowledge and familiarity with Assessment for Learning, Literacy and Differentiated Instruction practices.
Effective organizational and classroom management skills are imperative.
Ability to integrate and use technology in a regular and virtual classroom.Ability to create goals for Individual Program Plans as well as implement the plan for students.
A strong ability to build relationships with high school students, staff and parents.
Strong technology skills are required, with knowledge of Google Platform applications and PowerSchool an asset.
Flexible TEAM player.
Knowledge of the Collaborative Response Model is an asset.
