About the Role The position reports to the Area Supervisor, Facilities and is responsible for a range of duties that will help you to understand Facilities Maintenance, in-house and third party contracting, trade and non-trade work. Some of these duties will include:
General Maintenance of Facility;
Prepping and painting;
Changing lights and lamps;
Maintenance checks on HVAC Units, filters and drive belts;
General yard and landscaping work;
Simple plumbing issues;
Troubleshooting;
Administrative and paperwork completion;
Resident room maintenance checks;
Qualifications Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent observation, communication, and problem solving skills
Attention to detail and the ability to follow directions.
