Northern Gateway Public Schools invites applications for Two Full-time Teachers.
FTE at Twilight Colony Schooland1.0 FTE at Homeland Colony Schoolnear Valleyview, Alberta.The Principal and Teachers in each school work closely with the students and their families to teach the Alberta Curriculum while respecting Hutterite cultural beliefs.
Twilight Colony is approximately 70 KM north of Valleyview with 37 students.
The school has two teaching positions and a shared Principal.
Affordable housing is available for rent a few KM from the School.Homeland Colony is approximately 15 KM from Twilight Colony School with 32 students.

Valid Alberta Teaching CertificateEffective organizational and classroom management skillsMaintain a growth mindset toward student learning, teaching practice, and personal/collective professional developmentClassroom practice focused on:
a student-centered approach to responsive instruction that ensures student engagement and understanding, and nurtures teacher-student relationships assessment for/of learning that will support students in their areas of needed growth and achievementthe domains of the NGPS Quality Learning Environment (QLE)numeracy programming, support and interventionliteracy programming with a focus on English Second Language Learners culturally responsive instruction strong and effective communication with parents and the communitySchool practice focused on:
working with school administration to support the School Action Plan a commitment to student achievement and success through the Collaborative Team Meeting (CTM) processworking with school administration team to enhance staff wellness, and team development and spiritCollaborating effectively with school team, variety of stakeholder groups within the organization and with external partners to increase student performance and contribute to advancing the teaching and learning craftStart Date:
