Northern Gateway Public Schools Substitute Teachers Northern Gateway Public Schools is accepting applications for substitute teachers to teach in schools throughout the Division in all areas - Onoway, Alberta Beach, Sangudo, Mayerthorpe, Whitecourt, Fox Creek and Valleyview.
NGPS teachers have access to:
School-based instructional leaders who are committed to student and staff growth and development High quality professional learning focused on the NGPS Quality Learning Environment, literacy, numeracy and inclusive education supports Mentors and collaborative learning communities Extensive technology supports and training Teacher requirements/assets:
A student-centered approach to instruction and teacher-student relationships Effective organizational and classroom management skills An ability to design and implement differentiated instruction based on students needs An ability to utilize technology as an instructional tool A demonstrated commitment to collaborative practice and teamwork A commitment to continuous professional growth Must have a valid Alberta Teaching Certificate Application Process:
