Our Vice President, Commercial Growth you will play a pivotal role in driving our company's growth and market expansion initiatives.
You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to maximize business opportunities, identify new markets, and enhance our competitive position.
This is a senior leadership position that requires a strong background in the insurance industry, exceptional strategic thinking, and proven experience in working to drive business growth.

The job requires getting things done quickly and handling a variety of activities.

As a Vice President, Commercial Growth, you are a Strategist, results-oriented, innovative and analytical with a drive for change.

- Most importantly, you will lead by example, live our values, and drive product, territory, and sector growth strategies to achieve sales targets and expand market share.

- Take ownership of high-level recruitment efforts, ensuring the acquisition of top talent to support sales objectives.
- Shape the sales framework of tomorrow, working towards the development and implementation of innovative strategies to adapt to evolving market dynamics and customer needs.
- Other duties as required.
- Work with sales, marketing, and regional leaders to develop go-to-market strategies for new territories and target customer segments.
- Monitor competitive landscape and industry trends to identify opportunities and potential threats.
- Support Client Partnerships team to focus on strategic allocation of resources to maximize value generation.
- Play a key role in the development and delivery of large presentations and contribute to the vetting of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to secure new business opportunities.
- Establish and nurture strategic partnerships to expand our product offerings and reach new customer segments.
operational excellence and advisor development
- Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies to support scalable growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new business or acquisitions.
- Assist advisors with pipeline management and sales training to ensure they have the tools to succeed.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and work with internal leaders to develop action plans to address performance gaps.
Strategic Planning
- Develop and implement a comprehensive growth strategy aligned with the company's vision and objectives.
- Evaluate and prioritize growth initiatives based on their feasibility, profitability, and strategic fit.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to define long-term goals, KPIs, and milestones for growth efforts.
- Actively participate in the corporate quarterly business review process to report on the progress of sales goals and the performance of developing Advisors.
- Exemplary diplomatic skills essential for navigating complex business scenarios.
- Extensive experience in developing sales plans, crafting sector-specific strategies, and executing them effectively.
- Proven track record of achieving success in business-to-business sales environments.
- Strong focus on results-oriented approaches, leveraging effective systems and fostering collaboration among teams to achieve desired outcomes.
- Academic background comprising post-secondary education, certifications, and noticeable commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Exceptional leadership qualities, characterized by energy, collaboration, and the ability to inspire and unite teams towards a shared vision.
- Proficiency in analysis, problem-solving, critical thinking, decision-making, teamwork, communication, innovation, and adaptability.
