We're InLife.
A not-for-profit disability support provider that specialises in working with people with frequent and complex support needs, including 24/7 assistance.
We build teams around every client, depending on each person's needs and preferences.
We partner with people with any type of disability who want to live independently in the community (and we love to make that happen!).
That's why our assistants are so important.
Our clients may have physical disability, acquired brain injury, neurological conditions, intellectual disability or autism.
We're honoured that many of our clients rely solely on InLife for their essential support needs.

Our teams are based in Melbourne, Geelong and regional Victoria, including Benalla, Wangaratta, Stawell and Bendigo.
To do a great job, you'll need:
- Good judgement and common sense, listening skills, a willingness to learn and a commitment to our values
- Experience working active nights
- Experience in personal care and assistance with domestic duties
- Experience and skills supporting clients who can display (BOC) would be an advantage but not essential
- Experience supporting people with a physical disability including transfers/use of equipment and confident in hoisting
- Experience in bowel care and catheter care
- Auslan experience would be an advantage but not essential
- Experience working with children
- Have great patience and be willing to put in the time and energy to build rapport with client
- Enthusiasm and passion for supporting people with disabilities to live great lives.
- Commitment to working with a care team approach, including guidance from professionals.
For example, supporting our clients to complete a regular physiotherapy program - Full drivers licence and be willing and comfortable with providing transport in your own vehicle sometimes (we reimburse you for costs)
- Willing to work varied shifts with varied hours including early mornings, evenings and weekends together with some short shifts, sleepovers and active night shifts.
We also need you to be able to commit to ongoing shifts. - Varied locations across the Western suburbs including Werribee and Altona
