Interested in making a difference in the lives of young people? As part of ourheadspace Casey/Cardinia &Cranbourne East Secondary College partnership, EACH is looking for a passionatePsychologist to provide mental state, risk & discipline specific assessments, and individual counselling to students.
As a co-located service, you will have the unique opportunity to work on campus and deliver counselling to students on site.
You will receive referrals from the well-being team at the school and provide clinical work, including ongoing therapeutic services, care planning, and support to students attending the College.
In addition, you will engage young people in early help-seeking behaviour, provide psycho-education on mental health and drug and alcohol-related problems, and deliver evidence-based group programs for students at the school.
Collaborating closely with school staff, family members, carers, and other agencies and professionals engaged in young people's care, you will ensure seamless and coordinated treatment pathways for your clients.

About you
As a qualified and experienced Psychologist with aBachelor's degree in Psychology and full registration with APHRA, you will have demonstrated experience in working with young people and families, preferably in a secondary school context.
With robust clinical skills in early intervention for young people and their families, you will be capable of providing evidenced-based treatment for effective results.
Additionally, you will have experience in working with educational services and maintaining positive stakeholder relationships to ensure root causes are properly identified.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work at a reputable and well-established school, as part of an exciting partnership with headspace! Reporting to the Senior Clinician - School Services, you will form part of the School Services Team which consists of a number of schools across the Casey Cardinia region, and across headspace centres at Narre Warren & Pakenham.
Working collaboratively with other professionals at Cranbourne East SC, you will be well-supported by the Team Lead, Principal and other members of the school leadership team and external health professionals/services where necessary.
