As our General Manager, you will work closely with the interim CEO to shape the future of our organization and make a real difference in the lives of those we serve.
You will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of our operations, including strategic planning, staff development and operational implementation across general practice and mental health services.

We are a not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving primary healthcare services in rural areas.
With a commitment to innovation, collaboration, and excellence, we strive to deliver high-quality, accessible primary healthcare that meets the unique needs of rural communities, with current service offerings in Mental Health, General Practice and Nursing.
Position Summary
As the General Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the interim CEO in leading the organization, influencing, and delivering our vision and strategic direction throughout our business operations.
You will lead the operations of our business units, develop and maintain the necessary resource planning for future strategic growth, drive grant opportunities, think innovatively about revenue opportunities inline with patient and client outcomes and promote a positive culture within the organization.
Your leadership will drive innovation, resource allocation, client outcomes, risk management, and communication across teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Support the interim CEO in ensuring the implementation of our vision and strategic direction.
• Oversee the operations of business units, promoting innovation and optimal resource allocation.
• Advocate for rural health services needs.
• Manage resources and funding within allocated budgets, in alignment with our Quality Management System (QMS).
• Build and maintain positive relationships with funders and explore new funding opportunities.
• Shape the organization's culture and success, promoting integration and communication across teams.
• Support the development and growth of team members through mentoring, coaching, and performance management.
• Represent CQRH and RHMS professionally to stakeholders and advocate for regional health services.
Qualifications and Experience
• Proven experience in a senior leadership role, preferably within the healthcare or related sector.
• Strong strategic planning and operational management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and change management.
• Knowledge of financial management and budget control.
• Understanding of statutory and regulatory obligations in the healthcare sector.
• Experience in risk management and quality improvement.
• A track record of successful collaboration and team leadership through a time of change.
• Relevant qualifications in healthcare management or a related field.
