Opdrag 3:

LU/AS 1.10

Gebruik die skets as ‘n templaat en plak die bladsy op karton. Trek die vier vinne af op dikker, stewiger karton. Knip dit netjies uit. Vou die stippellyn om en plak die vinne onder om die bottel mooi ewe ver uit mekaar.

Let wel:

Weet jy hoe om hierdie skets van ‘n vin op skaal/in verhouding te vergroot na ‘n vin van ± 20 cm?

  • Trek vierkante bo-oor die skets – vier in die breedte en agt in die lengte.
  • In hierdie geval is elke vierkantjie 5 mm by 5 mm.
  • Trek vierkante van 30 mm by 30 mm op ‘n A4-vel papier – vier in die breedte en agt in die lengte.
  • Trek dan die patroon op die groter blokke oor.
  • Nou het jy ‘n vin van ± 20 cm.

Opdrag 5:

Besluit watter tipe rompvin die geskikste is en maak ‘n duidelike vryhandskets van jul keuse

Opdrag 6:

Maak ‘n finale tekening (korrekte grootte en met besonderhede) van ‘n rompvin op ‘n vel papier, wat jul as templaat kan gebruik om op die dik karton of ander geskikte materiaal na te trek.

Maak die romp van die vuurpyl deur die volgende instruksies te volg.

Instruksies

Knip een 2 ℓ bottel by die tweede lyn net onder die plakker middeldeur (Skets 1). Die deel wat die prop op het, gaan die boonste puntgedeelte van jou vuurpyl vorm. Die heel bottel met die opening ondertoe gedraai, vorm die onderste gedeelte van jou vuurpyl. Jy wil ‘n gewig in die boonste deel van jou vuurpyl hê.

Waarom?

  • Die vuurpyl is nie gebalanseer as die enjin in die onderste gedeelte is nie. Dit is die swaarste deel. Jy moet ‘n swaartepunt vind, sodat die massas weerskante eweredig versprei kan word.
  • Daarom is dit nodig om iets swaars in die boonste gedeelte van jou vuurpyl te plaas sodat die vuurpyl meer stabiel kan wees.
  • As die brandstof bykom, is die vuurpyl se onderkant nog swaarder.
  • As ‘n vuurpyl stabiel is, hou dit aan om vertikaal opwaarts te vlieg, sonder om om te tuimel en rigting te verloor.
  • Plaas dus ‘n paar groterige rivierklippies in ‘n banksakkie en plak dit stewig vas op die bodem aan die buitekant van die heel bottel wat onderstebo gehou word
  • Plaas nou die boonste deel van die deurgeknipte bottel bo-op en plak dit stewig aan die heel bottel met maskeerband/sterk breë kleeflint vas.

Opdrag 8:

Teken ‘n bo-aansig van die plasing van die vinne. Gebruik ‘n gradeboog en sakrekenaar vir die korrekte spasiëring.

Plak nou die vinne vas soos beplan. Nadat die vuurpyl voorlopig voltooi is, is dit nou nodig om die swaartepunt en drukmiddelpunt van jou vuurpyl te vind.
