Site Manager

About the Position

The Site Manager will have full authority to act for the Contractor/Company on all matters relating to Contract Performance.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Planning and managing the contract professionally.

Coaching and mentoring supervisors and leads ensuring that work is scheduled properly.

Ensuring that accurate and timely reports are provided.

Effective supervision to prevent inefficient or wasteful methods in the performance of services ordered.

Execute cost saving factors and quality controls to ensure work is performed as scheduled and at a fair and reasonable cost.

Will provide overall management coordination and serve as the central point of contact (POC) with the Government for all work under the contract.

Demonstrated effective written and oral communication skills that result in clear, concise, and positive communications.

Demonstrated strong organizational and planning skills.

Demonstrated strong analysis and problem-solving skills.

Understanding and working knowledge of company policies and procedures.

Education and Experience

:

Bachelor's degree in business, Distribution, or Administration Management at a minimum.

At least 5 years of experience In Distribution Management

3 years of experience using automated warehouse management systems within the past 5 years.

Must have experience working with DLA (Defense Logistics Agency)

The Site Manager shall provide overall management coordination and serve as the central point of contact (POC) with the Government for all work under the contract.

Ensure that accurate and timely reports are provided.

Execute cost-saving factors and quality controls to ensure work is performed as scheduled.



Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.

As a minimum, the Site Manager shall possess a bachelor's degree or higher in Distribution Management, Business Management, or Business Administration.

At least five (5) years of experience in Distribution Management-OR have at least ten (10) years of management experience in distribution operations similar to the size and complexity to the operations offered in this contract.

Experience shall include a minimum of three (3) years of experience using automated warehouse management systems within the past five (5) years.

The Site Manager shall possess the knowledge and skills required to plan, control, manage, and successfully complete the work.
