NTN has an immediate opening at our Whitestown, Indiana Warehouse location for a Warehouse Operator 1.
Key Responsibilities:
Picking appropriate cases according to order and placing the orders on carts, loading and unloading pallets and individual cases to and from trailers.
Operating a powered industrial truck safely, and loading trailers.
Warehouse employee may also be responsible for receiving and distributing product and assisting in weekly inventory of product. Maintain good housekeeping in assigned area.
Comply with all applicable safety, environmental, and PPE policies and procedures.
Warehouse employee will also comply with any/ all other duties assigned by the leadership team.
Qualifications/Skills and Abilities
The job requires extensive walking and standing on hard surfaces.
High school diploma or GED a plus.
Must have computer skills for e-mailing and communication, ability to use Microsoft Excel.
Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness and conformance to policies and procedures.
Defines, implements and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency of processes.
Other duties as required and assigned. Must be able to lift 50lbs unassisted.
