Job Summary

The Junior Systems Administrator's role is to assist in the stable operation of the in-house and cloud-based systems. This includes installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing end-user hardware and software. The Junior Systems Administrator will also analyze and resolve end user hardware and software computer problems in a timely and accurate fashion and provide end user training where required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Assist System Administrators with the management of our Microsoft 365 environment, including Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams and Entra,
Assist System Administrators with maintaining Cisco/Meraki devices.
Assist with management of warehouse scangun fleet.
Manage backup, storage and recovery procedures.
Install new/rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and requirements.
Assist with maintaining VoIP system.
Provide end user support for the organization.
Manage and document asset inventory.
Manage user accounts and permissions in 3rd party software, aligning with company security policies.
Provide assistance with day-to-day user end helpdesk support tickets.
Assist with Management of Company owned mobile cell phone fleet.

Skills, Knowledge, Abilities

Technical knowledge of network, desktop and server operating systems
Hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience
Ability to conduct research and present ideas.

Education and Experience

3-5 years of experience in Systems / Networking / User-End Support
Bachelor's Degree in technology related field preferred
Experience in Citrix, VMWare, and NetApp, Windows Server, PowerShell, Active Directory/Azure, Exchange, OneDrive, SharePoint
LAN/WAN technologies, Cisco and Meraki, VPN, and network security
AWS
Configuration and support of Intune Environment with Apple Business Management

Job Location

Lansing, IL
Full Time Monday through Friday
Rotating Saturdays
Shift based on business needs.
Work in-office schedule.
Job Type: Full-time

Salary

Starting Rate Based on Experience
Minimum starting rate of $55,000

Requirements

3-5 years of experience in Systems / Networking / User-End Support

Bachelor's Degree in technology related field preferred
