Medic Air Systems, Inc. was founded in 1996 as an HVAC Services Contractor providing due diligence to Medical Facilities. We continued as a full high quality Mechanical Contractor providing HVAC, Plumbing and Medical Gas piping, equipment installations and Certification of Medical Facilities, Hospitals and Nursing Care Centers throughout the state of Florida. Our company has not only shown significant growth over the past several years, and we forecast continued growth over the next several years due to our specialized field. Our Service Department is recognized throughout as the premier Health Care Service Center meeting all demands and expectations; while we provide high quality new construction services to our repeat customers and to new customers.

We are currently seeking skilled HVAC Mechanics in the Orlando area with a minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in the construction of medical facilities and in commercial HVAC. As a HVAC you will perform layouts of roof penetrations, ducting and the layout of sheet metal fittings; Ability to comprehend schematic diagrams, blueprints and other specifications required by contract documents; Provides assistance to the foreman as needed on the job; Provides support by following job schedules, i.e., labor hours, and material costs; Knowledge of commercial HVAC construction products and tools; Knowledge of blue prints, detailing HVAC duct fittings; Ability to complete sheet metal layouts and fabrications, good mechanical skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

•Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings detailing HVAC duct fittings.

•Provide assistance to the construction lead and foremen as needed on the job.

•Knowledge of commercial HVAC construction products and tools.

•Perform other related duties and projects as assigned by management.

•Ability to complete sheet metal layouts and fabrications, good mechanical skills.

•Must be able to work on high ladders and scaffolding and pick up 50 lbs.

Requirements:

•3 years' field experience specific to Medical Facilities or new construction.

•Minimum OSHA certification 10 hours.

•Must possess a current valid driver's license.

•Flexibility for travel and working overtime/weekends, as required.

•Able to lift 50 lbs. and climb ladders.

•Knowledgeable in setting equipment, installing various types of duct systems ranging from skip and drive, duct mate, TDC, various dampers, and all other related appurtenances of the air side of HVAC.

•Healthcare projects a plus.

•Lull and scissor lift training a plus.
