To make an impact a supply chain manager UF Health Shands, you will:
Develop inventory profiles for operating rooms (ORs), central supply areas and pre-/postoperative areas, assisting with the development of a dynamic delivery and pick-up schedule for supplies, linen and waste management, as well as coordinating procurement and stocking activities in the OR materials department.
Support nursing services by coordinating and maintaining a variety of non-clinical ancillary services.
Coordinate and maintain supply and inventory management for perioperative services, among them: case cart picking, par management, perioperative inventory, direct patient supply requirements, clerical support and other related unit-support functions.
To achieve excellence in this full-time role, we're looking for:
Five years of related logistics and supply chain experience.
Experience in perioperative services, cath lab, endoscopy or similar procedural areas.
At least seven years of managerial or supervisory experience.
Must have project management skills and experience with process improvement techniques.
An associate's degree is required. Bachelor's degree preferred in business or related field. A degree may be substituted with ten years of proven success as a supervisor or manager in a health care setting.
Must have knowledge of inventory management and point-of-use inventory systems.
Hospital logistics and supply chain experience preferred.
Schedule: Full-time
Shift: 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday - Friday
