Assistant Responsibilities
Understand the mission and goal of WHALER's Creation. Work closely with the Executive/Artistic Director.
Assistant Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage scheduling for executive director
Draft, review and send communications on behalf of executive director and volunteers
Organize and prepare for meetings, including gathering documents and logistics
Manage social media
Prepare communications, such as memos, emails, invoices, reports and other correspondence
Write and edit documents from letters to reports and instructional documents
Manage accounts and perform bookkeeping
Good computer skills with a knowledge of common bookkeeping and spreadsheet programs
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail
Skills needed to be successful:
Great interpersonal skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Time-management skills
Attention to detail
Organization skills
Multitask having the ability to work on more than one project at a time
