PositionOverview:
- Providing primary care directly to patients and indirectlyby working with other members of an interdisciplinary team to formulatetreatment plans
- Participating in community outreach, patient education,and prevention programs
- Maintaining patient files, encountering information,correspondence, clinical data, and other information in a confidential andcareful manner
- Examining the health of a patient to help make properdiagnoses of clinical conditions and prescribing medication, treatments, andfollow-up care as required
- Educating, advising, and empowering patients on preventivehealthcare and disease prevention
- Participating in ongoing learning to help formulateinnovative, predictive, and preventive diagnostic or wellness programs
- Recording and properly filing all patient documentation inthe facilitys electronic medical record
Requirements:
- Board certification/board-eligibility in FamilyMedicine required
