Concrete Paving Grade Check
SCOPE
Southwest Concrete Paving is looking for energetic, career oriented, team members to help grow, a high-quality survey team supporting concrete pavement and associated substrate construction operations.
The grade checker will assist with all aspects of site survey for the concrete paving and associated base and subbase layers, as well as control for demolition and other associated items.
This position will be a travelling position where the qualified applicant will be required to integrate and travel with a paving crew to assist with all functions of project layout and control.
The individual must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
Some night and weekend work will be required.
The ideal candidate will have at minimum a basic understanding of surveying techniques, hardware, and software equipment, and be able to read and understand project plans and specifications.
Training and furthering education will be provided, and the ideal candidate would have an interest in 3D model making software.
Southwest Concrete Paving is an established concrete paving company specializing in military airfield, FAA, and department of transportation work across the western United States.
