Are you an experienced engineering professional looking for your next challenge? We are a leading food manufacturing company seeking a Site Engineering Manager to join our client's team.

About the role:

As our Site Engineering Manager, you will be crucial in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our site machinery and ancillary equipment. You will lead and develop a team of maintenance professionals, driving continuous improvement of our systems to reduce downtime and maintain the exceptional quality of our products.

Key responsibilities:

Provide clear and visible leadership to the engineering team

Manage on-site legal compliance and contractor relationships

Develop and improve Planned Preventative Maintenance Systems

Manage on-site project works in collaboration with the project manager

Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely

Provide an escalation point for critical failures/breakdowns

Requirements:

Degree in mechanical or electrical engineering

Proven leadership experience in a maintenance/engineering function within a fast-moving, high-volume food production or manufacturing environment

Strategic thinker with a track record of delivering performance improvements

Experience in Lean, TPM, RCA, RCM, and other world-class preventative maintenance methodologies

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Experience with CMMS systems

Excellent prioritisation and time management skills

What we offer:

Up to £65,000

Monday to Friday 8-5
