About the Opportunity
The West Parry Sound Health Centre currently has an opening for a Nursing Station Manager (Nurse Practitioner) at our Nurse Practitioner-Led Clinic located in Whitestone, Ontario.

Responsibilities include working as part of an interdisciplinary team to deliver professional primary medical care and health education programs to the community and, as a Nursing Station Manager (Nurse Practitioner), responding to peak service demands in the community.
Travel to West Parry Sound Health Centre and the rural Nurse Practitioner Led Clinics may be required.

Normal working hours will be day shift, Monday to Friday.

More About You
To qualify for the role, you will need a current Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario in the Extended Class.

You will also need to have:
Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing from a recognized University and Certificate as a Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner;
Demonstrated commitment to continuing education and maintenance of high professional standards;
Must have a valid Ontario driver's license, clean driver's abstract, and access to a vehicle, as travel is required;
Demonstrated knowledge of various computer applications and software related to healthcare programs;
Demonstrated satisfactory attendance levels, work performance, disciplinary history, and positive work references;
Master's Degree in Nursing, Nurse Practitioner Program would be an asset;
Membership with the Nurse Practitioner's Association of Ontario would be an asset.
